Households have their role in reusing, recycling and other forms of
recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).
Batteries contain hazardous materials and should not be released into
the natural environment in any case. They are subject to specific dis-
posal rules (Decree 97-1328 of 30 December 1997).
