    Chapter 1 Overview 1 Overview N77 EVB is designed to commission the N77 module. It provides the power supply interface, USB-to- Serial interface, USB interface, SIM card interface, antenna interface, startup (PWRKEY_N) button, download (USB_BOOT) button, and other peripheral interfaces. You can connect it to a power supply and a computer to commission the module.

    Chapter 3 EVB Interfaces and Buttons 3 EVB Interfaces and Buttons N77 EVB can only be powered by the external power supply. It uses the Micro-USB cable to perform data communications. The following provides the power supply methods and communication methods of the EVB.

    Chapter 3 EVB Interfaces and Buttons Figure 3-4 Antenna interfaces 3.4 SIM Card Interfaces N77 EVB provides two kinds of SIM card connectors that can be automatically adapted to the 1.8V/3.0V SIM card. SIM1 card connector is a flip-open type card slot.

    Follow the steps below to start the module. Step 1: Insert a SIM card into the module. Step 2: Supply power to the N77 EVB; see Chapter 3.1 . Step 3: Turn the power switch to the On side to supply power to the module.

    Contact Neoway FAE if you cannot install the serial port drivers properly according to the steps mentioned above. Step 3: Start the Neo_ComTool tool to commission N77.   • Page 19 Step 3: Ensure whether the USB drivers are installed properly. Connect the N77 EVB through the USB interface to your computer with a USB cable. If the USB drivers are installed properly, the Device Manager interface displays “Neoway AT ⚫...
