8.2 J2534 PassThru Function

Zenith Z5 functions as a 'Pass-Thru' device for programming the ECUs for
multiple carlines.

How to Setup:

A. From your PC, go to EZDS website at www.zenithdiag.com and download 'Zenith
J2534 PC Library' file under PC Utility menu in Support tab
B. Unzip downloaded folder and install the file in the PC.
C. Connect the USB – C Type cable between Z5 and the PC.
D. Run the J2534 program provided from vehicle manufacturer in the PC.
E. Select [J2534] function in Z5.
F. Set the interface as 'Zenith' in the J2534 program.
G. Connect a DLC cable to the vehicle and start diagnosis.
Zenith Z5 serves as the "passthru" device only in this mode and the data files required for
reprogramming must be downloaded from the car manufacturer's service website at user's
own risk and responsibility.
