Priming/deactivating tow-away protection
using the button
To deactivate: switch off the ignition.

Press button 1.
#
Indicator lamp 2 flashes several times in
rapid succession.
Lock the vehicle from outside.
#
Tow-away protection is deactivated.
Tow-away protection remains deactivated until
you prime the ATA system again after opening a
door.
Function of interior protection
When interior protection is primed, a visual and
audible alarm is triggered if movement is detec‐
ted in the vehicle interior.
Interior protection is primed automatically after
approximately ten seconds:
after locking the vehicle with the key

after locking the vehicle using KEYLESS-GO
R
Interior protection is only primed when the fol‐
lowing components are closed:
doors
R
the tailgate
R
Interior protection is automatically deactivated:
after pressing the Ü or p button on
R
the key
after starting the vehicle with the key
