Possible causes/consequences and
* Transmission position M and the temporary manual driving program are no longer available. The engine output is
reduced depending on the overheating.
Let the transmission oil cool down by driving defensively until the display message disappears.

* The auxiliary battery for the transmission is no longer being charged.
Consult a qualified specialist workshop.
#
Until then, always select park position j manually before you switch off the engine.
#
Before leaving the vehicle, apply the electric parking brake.
