5. Fix the pressure Relief Valve (3) in place as the figure 10 shows: turn it to "Airproof" position and
check whether the Floater (5). The Floater (5) should be down in place before heating (see the fig-
ures 10a, 10b).

6. Switch the power on the display shows "000" – the first number is red, indicating pre-set time, the
second and the third are green, indicating optional pressure holding time.
7. Set parameters as desired and start cooking.
•
Time setting (skip this step if unnecessary).
Press the Timer Button (28) once and the time increases by 1 hour (in a circle), the timing indicator
lights up. The maximum time setting is 9 hours (it indicates unit will start cooking 9 ours later).

Choose the menu according to different recipes.
a. Press the one of the Menu Buttons (31-35) (press Cooking Button (31) for rice cooking, for exam-
ple) and the indicator lights up.
b. For optional menu, please refer to cooking instructions (see the table) to set proper pressure hold-
ing time. Press the Pressure keeping Button (29) and the timer increases by 1 min. The maximum
time setting 99 minutes and after that it begins a new circle. Pressure holding time denotes the time
pressure sustained after it gets to desired working pressure.
c. After time setting press Function menu Button (36), the timing indicator will flash and the Function
menu Indicator (36) lights up.
