What It Indicates
Send Pattern,
Access unit is sending a

interface
selected test pattern on the
network or DSX-1 interface.

nnnn indicates a DCLI number of 16 through 1007.

A count of 99999+ means that the maximum number of errors has been exceeded.

interface is Network, DSX-1, Port-1, Port-2, or the basic rate interface B channel.
Procedure
To display LMI Reported DLCIs Status:
1. Use the following menu sequence:

2. Select the desired interface (Network, Port-1, Port-2, BRI-B1, or BRI-B2).

Appears for 10 seconds only, before the network changes Deleted to Inactive and
New to Active.

LMI Reported DLCIs
What It Indicates
Identifies the Local Management
Interface-reported DLCI numbers
assigned to the selected interface –
the identifying number assigned to
the path between two frame relay
access unit's ports.
DLCI statuses are listed in
ascending order ( i.e., lowest
number first ).
LMI-reported status of the DLCI:
Whether the DLCI is active

(capable of carrying data) in the
1
frame relay network,
Whether it is inactive,
Whether it has been deleted by
the frame relay network, or
Whether it has been created by
the frame relay network.
Allow the test to continue.
Press Return ( ) while the
test is selected (via the
Command column) on the
Network or DSX-1 Physical
Tests screen ( Path: main/test/
[network/dsx] _ phy] ) to
activate or deactivate the test.
