- Page 3 Introduction: The ADJ Flat Par TW5 is part of a continuing pursuit to create high quality intelligent lighting. The Flat Par TW5 is a DMX intelligent, high powered LED par fixture. This fixture can be used in a stand alone mode or connected in a Primary/Secondary configuration. This wash has five operat- ing modes: Sound Active mode, Auto mode, RGB mode, Static Color mode, and DMX control mode.

Flat Par TW5 Warranty Registration The Flat Par TW5 carries a 2 year limited warranty. Please fill out the enclosed warranty card to vali- date your purchase. All returned service items, whether under warranty or not, must be freight pre- paid and accompanied by a return authorization (R.A.) number. -

The DMX address is set on the back panel of the Flat Par TW5. Your unit and your DMX controller require a standard 3-pin XLR con- nector for data input and data output (Figure 1). We recommend Accu-Cable DMX cables. If you are making your own cables, be sure to use standard 110-120 Ohm shielded cable (This cable may be purchased at almost all pro lighting stores).

- Page 8 Operating through a DMX controller gives the user the freedom to create custom programs tailored to his or her individual needs. The Flat Par TW5 has 6 DMX modes: 2 Channel mode, 3 Channel mode, 4 Channel mode, 5 Channel mode, 8 Channel mode, and 9 Channel mode.
- Page 9 “S.000” (strobe off) to “S.015” (fastest strobe). Sound Active Mode: In this mode the Flat Par TW5 will react to sound, and chase through the different colors. 1. Plug the fixture in and press the MODE button until “So-X” is displayed. “X” represents the sound active mode (1-8) that is currently in use.
- Page 10 This function is used to activate or deactivate the ADJ LED RC3 (Remote Control). When this func- tion is activated, the fixture can be controlled using the ADJ LED RC3. Please see the ADJ LED RC3 Operation section of this manual for ADJ LED RC3 controls and functions.
