    The power consumption depends on the configuration as well as the type and number of active interfaces. The internal fuse is not replaceable. Defective fuses must be replaced by qualified Kontron service. USB devices connected to USB 2.0 interfaces may consume a maximum of 0.5A per interface.

    When purchasing microSD cards, make sure that the card is suitable for the application and environmental conditions. Unexpected data loss or device failure can result when using unsuitable microSD cards. Kontron recommends microSD cards from swissbit®. eMMC The bootable eMMC (JEDEC 5.0) built into the Control Unit serves as operating system and program memory.

    The RTC RX-8564LC from Seiko Epson is used as clock component. In combination with a backup battery, the time continues to run even in case of a power failure. The specified maximum deviation of the frequency corresponds approximately to the deviation of one minute per month. For correct operation, the appropriate driver from Kontron Electronics must be installed.
