ADJUSTING CUTTING LINE LENGTH—AUTOMATIC BUMP LINE FEED The trimmer head allows the operator to release more cutting line without stopping the motor. As line becomes frayed or worn, additional line can be released by lightly tapping the bump knob on the ground while operating the trimmer.
