For Units Serial Number
440,000–599,999:
1. Locate the position of the mounting holes by aligning
the template (P/N 103-5865) on the front face of the
floor pan as shown in Figure 21. Clamp the template
in place. Using a center punch, mark the positions
of the holes on the floor pan. Flip the template over
and repeat on the other end of the floor pan face.

1. Align template along these three edges.
2. Drill 3/8 inch holes at the points marked.
3. Install four weight plates behind the front panel
and two weight mounting plates (items 33 and 39)
as shown in Figure 22 using four 5/16-18 x 2 inch
screws, four 5/16 inch flat washers, and four 5/16-18
inch whizlock nuts (items 34, 35, and 36).

4. Hook weight plate assembly (item 40) over the top
of the weight mounting plates and secure with two
hairpins (item 42) as shown in Figure 22.
Note: The removable weight is heavy. Use care
when lifting. Make sure that you can hold the
weight securely before lifting. Use caution when
positioning your hands so that you Do Not set
the weight down on your hands or fingers.
For Lazer Z XS Liquid-Cooled Units
Serial Number 600,000 and Higher
and Lazer Z DS Units Serial Number
312,000,000 and Higher:
1. Locate the position of the mounting holes by aligning
the template (P/N 103-5865) on the front face of the
floor pan as shown in Figure 21. Clamp the template
in place. Using a center punch, mark the positions
of the holes on the floor pan. Flip the template over
and repeat on the other end of the floor pan face.
2. Drill 3/8 inch holes at the points marked.
3. Install the four weight plates behind the front panel
and one weight plate on the front using the 5/16-18
x 1 3/4 inch screws, 5/16 inch washers, and 5/16-18
inch whizlock nuts (items 34, 35, and 36). The
weight plates will only fit with the ears located near
the bend in the floor pan (see Figure 23).
