Do not get pinched
The wheelchair is heavy and contains many moving parts,
which means that you may be pinched if you use the
wheelchair incorrectly. When you see this warning, be mindful
of your body location to avoid being pinched. Do not put any
part of your body between moving parts.
Use leg rest tilt cautiously
Do not use the leg rest tilt when a knee support is in place. If
you do, it may lead to bodily injury.
Armrest falling backward
Some combinations of armrest height and armrest angle can
cause the armrest to fall backward when the backrest is tilted
or reclined.
Recycle all batteries
Used batteries must be disposed of responsibly in accordance
with local recycling regulations.
Use the recommended tyre pressure
Use the recommended tyre pressure. If you overfill the tyres,
they may explode and cause bodily injury.
Electromagnetic fields
The electronics in a powered wheelchair can be affected by
external electromagnetic fields (e.g. mobile phones). Similarly,
the electronics in the wheelchair itself also emit electro-
magnetic fields that may affect the immediate surroundings
(e.g. certain alarm systems in businesses).
Discontinue use after extraordinary
events
Do not use your wheelchair if it has been dropped, crushed,
exposed to fire, submerged in water, or involved in a vehicle
accident, or other extraordinary events. Events like these may
lead to significant damage that is impossible to detect upon
inspection. Contact your service provider or Permobil.
Damage caused by these types of incidents exceeds the
limits covered by the manufacturer's guarantee.
Adjust the backrest without weight
Do not place any weight on the backrest while you adjust it. If
you do, the wheelchair may harm you or break.
Adjust the leg rest without weight
Do not place any weight on the leg rest while you adjust it. If
you do, you may get pinched.
