To install the handset battery:
1. Rotate the dial on the back of the handset to the unlock position
the battery cover down to remove it..
2. Plug the battery connector securely into the socket inside the handset battery
compartment. Insert the supplied battery with the label THIS SIDE UP facing up
as indicated.
3. Align the battery cover flat against the battery compartment, then slide it
upwards.
4. Rotate the dial on the back of the handset to the lock position
5. Charge the handset by placing it face forward in the charger. The battery icon
indicates the charge status as the battery charges.

If you do not use the handset for a long time, disconnect and remove the battery
to prevent possible leakage.
