• To view the On-screen Manual, double-click the iP4200 On-screen Manual alias on the desktop.
• To install the User's Guide in other language than the installed one, double-click the Manual folder
in Setup Software & User's Guide CD-ROM, Canon folder, and then copy a language folder to
your hard disk.

Select Test Print from the pop-up
menu, and click Print Head Alignment.

Read the message and click Print Head
Alignment.
It takes about 80 seconds to start printing. Do not open
the Top Cover while printing.

Ensure that the pattern shown on the
left is printed.
The Print Head is aligned automatically.
The printer is now ready to use.
• If the pattern is not printed successfully, refer to
"Eleven flashes" in "The ALARM Lamp Flashes
Orange" of the User's Guide.
• The pattern is printed in black and blue.
