Setting the Parameters on the Serial Interface of the CP 521
To establish a point-to-point connection, you must set the ASCII mode parameters
for the serial interface of the CP 521. Store all parameter setting data in DB 1 on a
user submodule (EPROM/EEPROM):
•
Enter all parameter setting data in DB 1 using the programmer
•
Transfer DB 1 to two user submodules one after the other
•
Plug the user submodules into both CP 521s.
Enter the following data for the example program in DB 1 of the user submodule:
