Installation
Mounting
The PNL-CIS4-x can be flush mounted into a standard 2-gang electrical box or surface mounted in
an optional surface mount box. For outdoor installations, mount under an eave or use a hooded
surface mount box (PNL-BB7).
Wiring Requirements when connecting to the IP7-FX – IP Audio Module
For best results and to minimize interference, connect the Microphone to the IP7-FX with 18-20 AWG
2 conductor SHIELDED wire. Connect the Shield to the J2-4 (GND) on the IP7-FX. Do not connect
the shield to the call station.
Use18 - 20 AWG for Speaker and the Call Button and LED.
If connecting the PNL-CIS4-x to the IP7-FX, the Microphone wire must not be in the same
jacket as the Speaker wire.
