Quick Start Guide

Objective

The purpose of this guide is to build a basic single door access control system enable a single card / fob to
release a lock. With this in place you can then experiment adding doors, cards, disabling access and interacting
with the live system.

What you will need


P2 Controller

12V power supply.

P2 Reader.

P2 USB Interface

PC running Windows Vista, XP Pro SP2 or 2000 SP4.

Doors Express installation CD.

Steps Involved

Connect equipment together
Install the Doors Express
Use the setup wizard
Use the setup wizard
Test the cards
