Ensure virtual disk creation with PERCCLI

Status = Success
Description = Add VD Succeeded
Results
The VD was created successfully.
Use PERCCLI to create virtual devices (VDs) for SSDs on a VxFlex Ready Node
server.
Before you begin
Ensure that the PERCCLI disk utility is installed.
Use this procedure both for SSD for storage and SSD to be used to provide caching
acceleration. The VDs created on SSD are configured with Direct IO and write-
through, but read-ahead is not enabled.
Procedure
1. Log in to the server.
2. Create the VD:
perccli64.exe /c0 add vd type=raid0 drives=<EID>:<Slt> direct
wt nora
Example:
perccli64.exe /c0 add vd type=raid0 drives=32:0 direct wt nora
EID and Slt are the Enclosure ID and Slot ID values, which in this example
where
are 32:0.
Results
The VD was created successfully.

each disk.
Procedure
1. Log in to the server.
2. Display the physical device (PD) information:
perccli64.exe /c0/eall/sall show
