VOCIA AMPLIFIERS VA-2060, VA-2060e, VA-4030, VA-4030e REAR PANEL Amplifier Output Connections CAUTION: All speaker wiring connections and output load selection should be made by qualified personnel and with the amplifier power removed. The 100V output requires Class 3 wiring. Please refer to a qualified electrician or other qualified person according to local codes. Transformer Load Selection The required amplifier output load is configured via the use of a recessed indented selector above the amplifier speaker output connectors. -

VOCIA AMPLIFIERS VA-2060, VA-2060e, VA-4030, VA-4030e REAR PANEL Output Fault Detection The Amplifier monitors (supervises) for faults on speaker connections using a combination multiple out-of-band (inaudible) high frequency tones for end-of-line detection, and DC current for ground fault detection. For end-of-line detection, one or more (up to 15 maximum) ELD-1 units must be connected to the end/s of the speaker line. -

VOCIA AMPLIFIERS VA-2060, VA-2060e, VA-4030, VA-4030e FAILOVER MODES Failover Modes The Vocia amplifiers support a device-to-device or channel-to-channel failover mode. Only one type of failover mode can be implemented per amplifier. Device-to-Device Failover All amplifiers support device-to-device amplifier chassis failover in case of fault. The redundant amplifier must be the same model as the primary amplifier. -

VOCIA AMPLIFIERS VA-2060, VA-2060e, VA-4030, VA-4030e FAILOVER MODES Channel-to-Channel Failover All amplifiers support channel-to-channel failover. This is configured in the Vocia software in the amplifiers general setting as 1:1 Failover. In this configuration, channel pairs can be specified and adjacent channels will act as a redundant backup. Channel 2 will act as backup for channel 1. -
