5. Release the spring so that the end rests against the outer case
of the printer as shown in the illustration below.
Caution:

Do not insert the metal spring into the output slot or any holes
in the printer case. Doing so may damage the face-up tray or your
printer.

Installing the Toner Cartridges

You need to install four cartridges in the printer.
Note:
If the toner gets on your skin or clothes, wash it off with soap and
water immediately.
Do not install a cartridge for at least on hour after moving it from
a cool to a warm environment.
