Cleaning

This device can be cleaned with a com-
mercially available domestic cleaning
agent (non-scouring).

Energy saving tips

Use the Vitotrol 100 setting options:
■ Never overheat your rooms.
Every degree of room temperature
reduction saves up to 6 % on your
heating bills.
Never set your room temperature
higher than 20 °C (see page 14).
■ Select the program that meets your
current requirements:
– For short periods of absence (e.g.
shopping trips), select "Economy
mode" (see page 18).
As long as economy mode is activa-
ted, the room temperature is
reduced and DHW heating is off.
– If you are going away, select the
"Holiday program" (see page 16).
As long as the holiday program is
activated, the room temperature is
reduced and DHW heating is off.
– If you don't want to heat the interior
and you don't require DHW for an
extended period, select operating
mode "Frost pr." (see page 13).
Further recommendations:
■ Correct ventilation/airing
Fully open windows for a short time
and close the thermostatic valves
while airing.
■ Close roller shutters (if installed) at
dusk.
■ Set thermostatic valves correctly.
■ Never cover radiators or thermostatic
valves.
■ Controlled DHW consumption: A
shower generally uses less energy
than a full bath.
