To check the Caller ID list through the web browser
interface
Important:
R Make sure the Caller ID list on web is set to
"ENABLED" beforehand (feature #568 on page
page 89).
1. Start Multi-Function Station.
2. [Device] A [Configuration Web Page] A
[Device]
3. Type "root" as the user name, then enter the
password (feature #155 on page 72). A [OK]
4. Select the [FAX FEATURE] from the menu.
5. Click [List] next to [CALLER ID].
6. The Caller ID list will be displayed.
7. Close the web browser.
To check the journal report through the web browser
interface
Important:
R Make sure the journal on web is set to
"ENABLED" beforehand (feature #569 on page 89).

2. [Device] A [Configuration Web Page] A
[Device]
3. Type "root" as the user name, then enter the
password (feature #155 on page 72). A [OK]
4. Select the [FAX FEATURE] from the menu.
5. Click [List] next to [JOURNAL].
6. The journal report will be displayed.
7. Close the web browser.

13.3 Ecology mode

By setting up ecology mode on this unit, you can reduce
the number of copies the unit makes and the amount of
power consumed by the unit.
When ecology mode is activated, the following will be set
automatically.
– 2 in 1 copy is activated.
– Duplex copy is activated.
– LCD backlight is turned OFF.
– The unit enters power save mode in 1 minute.
Activating ecology mode
1. Press MECON repeatedly to display "ECO MODE
ON".
R The MECON light turns ON.

Customizing ecology mode
Each ecology mode setting can be changed.
1. Press MECON repeatedly to display "ECO MODE
ON".
2. Press MFN or MEN repeatedly to select the setting you
want to change.
3. Press MCN or MDN repeatedly to select the desired
item.
R To set other items, repeat steps 2 and 3.

– "8 in 1"
– "OFF"
"ORIENTATION"

13.4 Cancelling the operations

You can cancel the current operation from the unit. You
can also select the desired operation to cancel.

To cancel printing:
Press MwN repeatedly to display "STOP
PRINTING?".
To cancel scanning:
Press MwN repeatedly to display "STOP
SCANNING?".
To cancel copying:
Press MwN repeatedly to display "STOP
COPYING?".
To cancel sending or receiving faxes:
Press MwN repeatedly to display "STOP FAX?".
To cancel broadcast transmission:
Press MwN repeatedly to display "BROAD
CANCELLED?".
To cancel fax redialling:
Press MwN repeatedly to display "SEND
CANCELLED?".
