ECO-THROTTLE SYSTEM

With the sw itch in the ON position, engine speed is autom atically
low ered w hen loads are reduced, turned OFF or disconnected. When
appliances are turned ON or reconnected, the engine returns to the
proper speed to pow er the electrical load. In the OFF position, the Eco-
TM
Throttle system does not operate.
Appliances w ith large start-up pow er dem ands m ay not allow the
engine to reach norm al operating rpm w hen they are connected to the
generator. Turn the Eco-Throttle to the OFF position and connect the
appliance to the generator. If the engine still w ill not reach norm al
operating speed, check that the appliance does not exceed the rated
load capacity of the generator.
If high electrical loads are connected sim ultaneously, turn the Eco-
Throttle sw itch to the OFF position to reduce voltage changes.
The Eco-Throttle system is not effective for use w ith appliances that
require only m om entary pow er. If the tool or appliance w ill be turned
ON and OFF quickly, the Eco-Throttle sw itch should be in the OFF
position.
When using the DC output, turn the Eco-Throttle sw itch to the OFF
position.
