Storage Procedure
1. Drain the gasoline.
a. Unscrew the fuel tank cap, rem ove the debris screen, and em pty
the fuel tank into an approved gasoline container using a
com m ercially available hand siphon. Reinstall the debris screen
and the fuel tank cap.
b. Loosen the cover screw and rem ove the m aintenance cover.
c. Loosen the carburetor drain screw .
d. Drain the gasoline from the carburetor into a suitable container.
e. Rem ove the spark plug m aintenance cover.
f. Rem ove the spark plug cap.
g. Turn the engine sw itch to the ON position.
h. Pull the starter grip 3 to 4 tim es to drain the gasoline from the fuel
pum p into a suitable container.
i. Turn the engine sw itch to the OFF position.
j. Tighten the carburetor drain screw .
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured when handling fuel.
Keep heat, sparks, and flame away.
Handle fuel only outdoors.
Wipe up spills immediately.
