Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps listed, contact the customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
Problem

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that
it can be recycled.
This device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electri-
cal and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of this device as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially
approved waste disposal company.

Possible cause
The device is not
supplied with power.
The device is over-
heated. The device
was in operation sev-
eral times in succes-
sion / for too long.
Operating noises are a normal consequence of the mechanics and
not a defect.

Check whether
• the I/O button (12) has been pressed and
the control lamp (19) is lit.
• all cables are correctly connected to
each other.
• the mains adapter is plugged in the plug
socket or the car adapter is plugged in
the cigarette lighter.
• the plug socket or the cigarette lighter is
defective.
• the fuse of the mains connection is
inserted.
Disconnect the mains connection and allow
the device to cool down. Always disconnect
the device from the mains when it is not in
use.
