Inserting / Changing Batteries

NOTE!
Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in
the device and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if
necessary.
Use only the battery type specifi ed in the technical data (see
the "Technical Data" chapter).
Always replace all batteries together. Never use batteries of
different types or brands, or batteries with different capacities.
When replacing batteries, ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).
Two 1.5 V batteries, AA type are required for operation.
1. Open the battery compartment (4) on the bottom of the device:
Press the locking catch on the battery compartment cover and
remove it.
2. If necessary, remove the used batteries and dispose of them in
an environmentally friendly way.
3. Insert two 1.5 V batteries of the AA type. Pay attention to the
correct polarity (+/–).
4. Place the battery compartment cover back on the battery com-
partment and fl ip it shut. It must click audibly into place.
Replace the batteries when the power of the device starts to
wane.
Use
WARNING – Dangers of Injury! It is essential to read the
safety instructions prior to use!
Preparation of the Skin
Clean your feet before using the device. Make sure that there are
no cream or care oil residues on the feet.
Foot Massage
1. Place the device on the fl oor.
2. Place your foot on the footrest with pimples (1).
3. To switch on the device, press your foot on the On/Off switch
(5), in the rear part of the footrest, and keep it pressed down.
The footrest begins to vibrate.
The vibration stops as soon as the foot is raised.

4. To massage the foot or toes using the rollers (2), simply guide
your foot or toes back and forth over the rollers. Note: The roll-
ers do not vibrate.
After Treatment
1. After treatment, apply cream to the feet so that the effect of the
massage lasts for longer.
2. For hygiene reasons, the device should be cleaned after every
use (see "Cleaning and Storage").
Cleaning and Storage
NOTE!
Do not rinse the device under running water!
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the device. These can damage the surface.
1. If necessary, wipe down the device with a damp cloth and a
little mild cleaning agent. Under no circumstances should
you rinse the device under running water.
2. Store the completely dry device in a dry place that is protected
from sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals at
room temperature.

Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able
to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved
with the steps below, contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device
yourself!
The device is not working.
Are the batteries too weak or incorrectly inserted? If neces-
sary, insert new batteries or check the polarity (see "Inserting
/ Changing Batteries").
Is the On / Off switch (5) being pressed down? Press down on
the footrest with pimples (1) in the rear section with your foot
with a little force to switch on the device.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.

at a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic devic-
es. More information is available from your local authorities.
Batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the device
and disposed of separately from the device at suitable col-
lection points. Follow the general instructions governing the
disposal of batteries.
