TDSscan10 TDS Calibration The TDSscan10 tester allows 1 point calibration. For better accuracy, we recommend to calibrate the tester regularly. TDSscan10 Measurement TDS Measurement Rinse the electrode with deionized water. Place the electrode into the sample solution and stir gently. Make sure that no air bubbles on the sensor surface. Wait for the measurement to stabilize and record the reading. If the display shows indicating the measurement exceeds the range, remove the tester from the sample immediately.
TDSscan10 Appendix Calculating the TDS Conversion Factor The TDSscan10 tester allows setting the conversion factor according to the type of sample. The factory default is 0.50. The following formula describes the calculation method. Factor = Actual TDS / Actual Conductivity @ 25° C Where: Actual TDS = Value from the high purity water and precisely weighed NaCl or KCL reagent.
TDSscan10 Disposal This tester is required to comply with the European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2002/96/EC and may not be disposed of in domestic waste. Please dispose of this product in accordance with local regulations at the collecting point specified for electrical and electronic equipment.
