How to Replace the Fan Motor in the Parlour and Gnome Pellet Stove Step 1 CAUTION: Unplug power cord prior to performing any service on stove. Ensure stove has cooled down. Remove pellets from Hopper. Remove 5/16-18 shoulder bolt and aluminum washer holding Top Lid to stove.

How to Replace the Fan Motor in the Parlour and Gnome Pellet Stove Step 4 Remove Firepot. Step 5 Remove Clean Out Covers. Step 6 GENTLY lay stove down on front face. Ensure carpet, padding or blankets are under stove.

How to Replace the Fan Motor in the Parlour and Gnome Pellet Stove Step 7 Rotate stove so that stove is resting on Top Bell. Be careful not to damage the Hopper Switch. Step 8 Remove (4) 8-32x3/8 black philips pan head machine screws holding Transformer to stove.

How to Replace the Fan Motor in the Parlour and Gnome Pellet Stove Step 13 Remove (3) 10-32 hex nuts holding Fan Motor assembly to stove using a 3/8” socket with 6” extension. Step 14 Cut zip tie holding Fan Motor wires to Fan Motor assembly.

How to Replace the Fan Motor in the Parlour and Gnome Pellet Stove Step 16 Remove Fan Motor assembly. When removing Fan Motor assembly the silicone seal will have to be broken (orange sealant in photo). Gently rocking back and forth will loosen and release the Fan Motor assembly.

How to Replace the Fan Motor in the Parlour and Gnome Pellet Stove Step 19 Apply high temperature sealant around Fan flange on stove. Step 20 Install new gasket. Step 21 Apply high temperature sealant on top of gasket and where gasket meets exhaust port.
