    PROVIDENCE INSERT PELLET STOVE COMBUSTION AIR ADJUSTMENT Combustion air can be adjusted by rotating the air shutter to close / open the air duct. Air adjustment is critical for proper combustion and stove efficiency. Adjust the shutter so the flame is bright yellow in appearance and is actively moving (not lazy). Dark flames, smoke or black tips on the flame is an indication of too little air.
