Repeat steps 5 to 6 for the left-hand crank arm, noting that the pedal bolt and crank arm thread
is left-hand (rotate left / anti-clockwise to tighten) and that the pedal bolt nut has no particular
identifying colour. The crank arm and pedal will also have a "L" sticker or stamped "L".
8.
Secure the handlebar (9) to the handlebar post (10) using 4 M8x20 screws (11) and washers (12), and
firmly tighten (rotate right) using the Allen key. Ensure the pulse sensor wires are not trapped or pinched
between the handlebar and post during assembly.
9.
Slide the bottom section of the handlebar post shroud (13) over the post. Thread the pulse sensor wire
(E) through the hole in the shroud. Then, place the top section of the shroud (14) into position over the
handlebar and top of the handlebar post. Secure the sections of shroud together using 4 self-tapping
screws (15). Tighten (rotate right) the screws using the supplied screwdriver. Be careful not to over-
tighten as they are screwing into plastic.
10. Slide the handlebar post down into the frame handlebar tube – ensure the handlebar is facing forward.
Then, insert the handlebar locking handle (16) into the nut at the front of the frame handlebar tube and
rotate right. Tighten firmly by hand.
