2.2.3 Connecting with UPS

To connect the power cord from the Blade Enclosure to an interruptive power supply (UPS), use outlet socket
on the rear of the UPS. Refer to the manual that comes with the UPS for details.

When the power cord from the Blade Enclosure is connected to a UPS, you may need to change the BIOS
SETUP of the CPU blade to link with power supply from the UPS.
Run BIOS SETUP, and select Server -> AC-LINK and change parameter appropriately. Select Power On for
automatic operation via UPS. For more information, refer to Chapter 2 (1.2.4 Server) in "Maintenance Guide".
