Hard disk drives are optional.

The CPU blade can contain the following type of hard disk drives:Hard Disk Drive (SAS or SATA)

Solid State Drive (SATA)
With the hard disk drive that contains an operating system, pay strict attention to handle it.

DISK Access lamp (green/amber)
Goes on green while accessing the hard disk
drive.
Goes on amber if failure occurs on hard disk
drive.
Blinks green and amber alternately or blinks
amber while array disks are rebuilt.
If hard disk drives are operating in array
configuration, this lamp works only while the OS
is running.
Lever
Use this lever when installing or removing hard
disk drive.
