    Introduction Congratulations on your purchase of the Zing standing frame. We at Altimate Medical have designed the Zing with your needs in mind. ZING Description The Zing line of products is intended for individuals who are able to transfer with assistance from a caregiver and/or lifting device.

    Assembly 1. Remove the base from the box and position as shown. 2. Spread the three legs out and position as shown. Caution: Beware of pinch point between handle and the rear leg. 3. Lock the center mechanism by pushing down on it to lock the snap pin into position.
  • Page 7 4. Locate the rubber washer on each of the abduction bolts. 5. Remove only the rubber washer on both abduction bolts and discard. 6. Place each medium size knob from the parts bag onto each bolt as shown. Page 4...
  • Page 8 7. There are 4 pads, 3 pads have straps on them, they are the pelvic support pad, supine upper body support pad and prone upper body support pad. The other pad without the strap is the head sup- port. Remove 2 bolts from the parts bag and place one of the pads with the strap on to the unit as shown.
  • Page 9 10. Remove 2 small knobs and washers from the parts bag. Place washer onto the tray bracket as shown. 11. Place knob onto tray bracket, only start the threads, you will tighten the knob later on. Repeat steps for other side of the tray bracket. 12.
  • Page 10 13. Place the head support bracket into the tube as shown. Depress the spring button. 14. While supporting the head support bracket, place one of the large knobs from the parts bag onto the unit as shown. Tighten securely. 15. Remove 2 bolts from the head support pad (the head support pad does not have straps).
  • Page 11 16. Place the head support pad bracket into the tube on the head support bracket as shown and tighten knob securely. 17. Using the lever with one hand and supporting the unit with your other hand, position the unit as shown.
  • Page 12 19. Place knee into position and tighten knobs securely. Repeats steps 18 and 19 for other knee pad. 20. Depress the spring button on the leg and insert foot plate onto tube as shown. Put into position and tighten securely. Repeat steps for other foot plate. 21.

    Adjustment/Usage CAUTION: Trays should not be loaded with greater than 10lbs. (4.5KG). Use caution when positioning mast (steps 16 and 17) with any object on the tray. Changing from Supine to Prone 1. Loosen the knob and depress the spring button on the tube to remove the Supine tray assembly.

  • Page 18 Foot Plates Caution: Never reposition the foot plates with the child in the standing position. 10. To adjust the foot plate height, loosen knob and set to desired position. Tighten knob securely. 11. To adjust the Toe-in/Toe-out/Abduction, loosen knobs underneath foot plates, slide foot plates into position.

  • Page 20 Supine 16. With one hand supporting the unit, Adjust to the desired supine position by depressing the lever on the rear handle and tilting. This can be done with the user in the unit. Rear Handle Prone 17. With one hand supporting the unit, Adjust to the desired prone position by depressing the lever on the rear handle and tilting.

    Maintenance • Check the Zing at least weekly to ensure all nuts, bolts and adjustable parts are tightened securely, failure to do so may result in parts falling off which may cause a choking hazard for children. • Mechanisms work better when clean and free of dirt, dust, lint and other debris. When not in use store the unit in an area that will allow the unit to remain clean.
