Friction: Friction connectors use a spring mechanism to create
friction between the contacts. To disconnect a friction
connector, grasp the connector on each side of the connection
and pull the connector apart. If mounted on a circuit board, it
may be necessary to hold the part solder to the board while
disconnecting to prevent pulling the connector off the board.
CAUTION Do not use excessive force to
disconnect the connector. Excessive force may result
in pulling the mounted connector off the circuit
board.
To connect a pressure connector, align the two parts and press
them together.
