Charging a Battery
BLACK+DECKER chargers are designed to charge
BLACK+DECKER battery packs.
Note: To ensure maximum performance and life of lithium
ion battery packs:
Charge the battery pack fully before first use.
u
Recharge discharged batteries as soon as possible
u
after every use.
Do not discharge batteries fully.
u
Charging (Fig. A)
Plug the charger (5) into an appropriate outlet before
u
inserting the battery pack (4).
Insert the battery pack into the desk charger (5).
u
When using the the desk charger a green LED (5b) will
u
flash indicating that the battery is being charged.
The completion of charge is indicated by the green LED
u
(5b) remaining on continuously. The pack is fully charged
and may be used at this time or left on the charger.
Note: The battery includes a state of charge indicator to quick-
ly determine the extent of battery life. By pressing the state of
charge button (4a) you can easily view the charge remaining
in the battery.
Wall mounted vacuum storage (available
through your service department) (Fig. N)
The product can be attached to a wall to provide
convenient storage for the appliance.
When mounting to a wall, make sure the mounting method
is suitable for the wall type and is appropriate to the weight
of the appliance.
Mark the location of the storage bracket screw holes on
u
the wall.
Fix the wall storage bracket to the wall using appropriate
u
screws and plugs for the type of wall, and weight of the
appliance.
