Introduction
The 082-0220-00 is a two slot vertical 2U PCI-X riser backplane. The back-
plane to SBC interface is a PICMG 1.0 64-bit connector with enhancements
to accommodate the PCI-X protocol. Expansion slots are provided as two
3.3V 64-bit 33/66MHz PCI/PCI-X slots with signal definition and power
compatible with the PCI specification Rev. 2.2 and PCI-X Addendum speci-
fication Rev 1.0A. The 082-0220-00 backplane also has headers for two
+12V fans (no fan tach output), one power LED header, one 6 pin connector
to supply power to the SBC, one rocker switch to turn the system on / off,
and an ATX type power connector to provide sufficient power to all
peripheral cards, fans, and the SBC motherboard.

Unpacking
1) After unpacking the box, save it and the packing material for possible future shipment.
2) Remove all the items from the box. If any items listed on the purchase order are missing, notify Kontron
Customer Service immediately (800-480-0044, option 2).
3) Inspect the product for damage. If there is damage, notify Kontron Customer Service immediately. Refer to
"Guarantee and Warranty Policy" in the manual for this product posted on the Kontron website (www.kontron.com).
