Defining the IP address on the Processor Unit
network adapter for communication with the
transceiver
The Processor Unit and the transceiver(s) communicate on a high capacity Ethernet cable.
If more than one transceiver is used, an Ethernet switch is added. On the Processor Unit,
define the IP address and Subnet mask for the Ethernet port used to communicate with the
transceiver(s). The EK80 automatically assigns an IP address to each transceiver when
they are turned off and on.
Context
This procedure is only performed once, unless you make changes to your system.
