4.3 Panels

Use the panels to hold the equipment needed for use with a transport
incubator. Secure all equipment placed on the panels. Use the slots in
the panel for the straps to secure the equipment.
Consult your bio-med technician (or the controlling EMS) for proper
placement and securing of the equipment on the panels.
Confirm equipment placed on the panels:
is secured to the panel.
does not interfere with transporter operation.
does not unbalance the transporter.

4.4 Safety Bar and Safety Hook

See "Setup" on page 20 to install the provided safety hook (A).
During the loading and unloading process, the transporter safety bar (B)
catches safety hook (A) installed on the ambulance floor (Figure 5) and
secures the transporter while the operators unlock the undercarriage
for folding or unfolding.

and "Unloading the Transporter" on page 17.
The loading-end operator may also use the safety bar as a lift frame (C)
for a more ergonomic position to lift or lower the transporter (Figure 6).

4.5 Lift Frame

The lift frame (D) enables a control-end operator for a more ergonomic
position to lift or lower the transporter (Figure 7). When using the lift
frame, operate the lower control handle unlock the undercarriage when
extending or retracting.

Equipment improperly placed on the panels can cause
injury. Consult a bio-med technician, the controlling EMS,
or Ferno for direction on equipment placement.
Failure to use the safety hook (provided) can cause injury.
Install and use the safety hook as described in this manual.
