Connecting Other Equipment

You can connect an audio equipment — used only as a
playback device.
When you connect and use this equipment, refer also to its
manual.
• DO NOT connect any equipment while the
power is on.
• DO NOT plug in any equipment until all
connections are complete.
Be sure that the plugs of the audio cords are color coded:
White plugs and jacks are for left audio signals, and red ones
for right audio signals.
To audio output
For playing the other equipment through this unit,
connect between the audio output jacks on the other
equipment and AUX jacks by using audio cords (not
supplied).

Power Supply

Use AC power, dry batteries (not supplied) or a car's cigarette
lighter (the DC power supply) to operate the unit.
As long as the AC or DC power cord is connected to a power
source, the unit operates on AC or DC power rather than on
the batteries in it.

Use the System in a car properly
• Be sure to use the specified car adapter (JVC model CA-R120) to
prevent mishaps or damage resulting from different polarity
design.
• Unplug the AC power cord from the System when using the
System with a car adapter.
• For safety, stop the car before performing operations.
• Be sure to start the engine when you use the car adapter, otherwise
the car battery will be exhausted.
• During transport stabilize the System in a box, etc.
• The Unit is not waterproof or dustproof, To prevent malfunctions,
do not leave the System in a car for a long time.
To insert the batteries

• DO NOT use an old battery together with a new one.
• DO NOT use different types of batteries together.
• DO NOT expose batteries to heat or flame.
• DO NOT leave the batteries in the battery
compartment when you are not going to use the
remote control for an extended period of time.
Otherwise, it will be damaged from battery leakage.
