Double-check p pe connect ons
Dur ng operat on, the pressure of the refr gerant c rcu t w ll ncrease. Th s may reveal leaks that were
not present dur ng your n t al leak check. Take t me dur ng the Test Run to double-check that all
refr gerant p pe connect on po nts do not have leaks. Refer to Gas Leak Check sect on for nstruct ons.
5. After the Test Run s successfully complete, and you conf rm that all checks po nts n L st of Checks
to Perform have PASSED, do the follow ng:
a. Us ng remote control, return un t to normal operat ng temperature.
b. Us ng nsulat on tape, wrap the ndoor refr gerant p pe connect ons that you left uncovered
dur ng the ndoor un t nstallat on process.
If amb ent temperature s below 17°C (63°F)
You can't use the remote controller to turn on the COOL funct on when the amb ent temperature s
below 17°C. In th s nstance, you can use the MANUAL CONTROL button to test the COOL funct on.
1. L ft the front panel of the ndoor un t, and ra se t unt l t cl cks n place.
2. The MANUAL CONTROL button s located on the r ght-hand s de of the un t. Press t 2 t mes to
select the COOL funct on. See F g. 10.1
3. Perform Test Run as normal.
