Electr cal and gas leak checks

9.1 Electr cal safety checks

After nstallat on, conf rm that all electr cal w r ng s nstalled n accordance w th local and nat onal
regulat ons, and accord ng to the Installat on Manual.
Before test run
Check Ground ng Work
Measure ground ng res stance by v sual detect on and w th ground ng res stance tester. Ground ng
res stance must be less than 4.
Note: Th s may not be requ red for some locat ons n the US.
Dur ng test run
Check for Electr cal Leakage
Dur ng the Test Run, use an electroprobe and mult meter to perform a comprehens ve electr cal
leakage test.
If electr cal leakage s detected, turn off the un t mmed ately and call a l censed electr c an to f nd and
resolve the cause of the leakage.
