Use the following checklist as a guide when inspecting for AIS.

Inspect hull.

Inspect water inlet & outlet fittings.
Inspect boarding ladder.
Inspect transducers or other attachments to the hull.
Inspect anchors and lines.
Inspect tow ropes.
Inspect any other gear or equipment that has been in the
water.
Inspect water intake screens.

Inspect gearcase.

Inspect propeller.

Inspect bunks and/or rollers.

Inspect fenders & frame.

Inspect tires & wheels (including spare tire)
