1 The Cabinet Ventilation Principle The ventilation principle inside the cabinet is illustrated in Figure 1-6. A flow of air is forced by the air guide unit at the lower part of the subrack into the cabinet. After being blown by the fan unit on the top of the subrack, the cooling air passes upward through the subracks and is exhausted from the top of the cabinet.

AN5116-06B Optical Line Terminal Equipment Hardware Description Function The PDP provides individual -48V power feeds for each subrack and cards inside the cabinet by distributing the -48V power received from the power cabinet in the equipment room. Structure The hardware no. of PDP is 3.000.059. The PDP is small and compact. Its structural and engineering design complies with the relevant national and international standards.
If the equipment room provides only the single power rail, but the AN5116-06B requires redundant power rails or 6 branch power rails, users can use shorting plugs to short circuit -48V1 and -48V2; GND1 and GND2 of the main power supply connector posts.
