854 Day Bed Step 1. Identify the correct positioning on front and back support frame. Notice in Fig. 1 the pre-drilled holes for the side to side support frame pieces are closer to the bottom than the top of the front frame. The counter-sink for the arm bolt should face out whether in the front or the back.

854 Day Bed Step 2. Assemble the Frame Ensuring that the pre-drilled holes are in the correct position shown in Step 1, place front support frame (B) upright and place a side to side support (D-L) against it aligning the threaded insert against the back of the front support (B).

854 Day Bed Step 3. Assemble the Sides Hex Bolt (I) Ensuring that the pre-drilled holes are in the correct position shown in Step 1, place Side (C) flat with the extended part of the arm facing out. Place Back Post (F-R) next to Side (C-R) and align with hex bolt into the threaded insert in the Side (C-R).

854 Day Bed Step 3 Assemble the Sides Place side (C-L) in between the front and back supports (B) and outside the last side to side support (D) on the left side. Slide down until the side (C-L) rests on top of the front and back support frame (B).

854 Day Bed Step 3 Assemble the Sides Repeat previous step for the side (C-R). Again, only tighten fasteners finger tight. This will assist in alignment for the next step. Fig. 8 Fig.8 Step 4 Assemble the Back This step will require two people to make alignment much easier.

854 Day Bed Step 4 Assemble the Back Place a bolt (I)through the pre- drilled hole in the side (C-L/C-R) and thread into the threaded insert. Once the bolt is in place and partially threaded in, move to the lower pre-drilled hole and thread a bolt (I) through the lower pre- drilled hole and partially thread in.

854 Day Bed Step 5 Assemble the Decking Place one of the two bottom deck supports (E) onto the bottom assembly. Slide all the way to the back and ensure that the ends are over the outside side to side supports.

854 Day Bed Step 6 Install Eye Bolts Next place a washer on the back side of the eyebolt (F). Thread on a nut and thread it down until snug. With pliers hold the eyebolt with opening down and tighten the opposing nut with a wrench until tight.
