#854 GLIDER ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing a quality select hardwood Glider. The Gliders are made exclusively by the Hinkle
Chair Company, a family-owned business that has made hardwood furniture in the same location in Springfield,
Tennessee since 1834. Your Glider comes with a rich heritage and will become a treasured family heirloom.

NOTICE: The Glider that you have purchased requires some assembly. As with all furniture, proper
assembly is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of your glider. Hinkle Chair cannot be responsible for

  • Page 3 STEP 1: _________________________________________________________________________________________ Lay the shipping box flat to protect the Glider during Repeat the same process with the back Glider Base Support Stretcher assembly. Begin to assemble the Glider Base by standing on the same side (B-R). Again, hand tighten with the Wrench (G) up the Glider Base right side (B-R) and align Glider Base provided.

If at any point it is impossible to get the ¼” x 2” bolt pre-drilled hole in the Glider Upper.
  • Page 7 LISTED BELOW ARE SOME TIPS TO HELP KEEP YOUR FURNITURE LOOKING NEW. To preserve the finish on stained or pure white furniture it is highly recommended that they either be placed indoors or in a protected environment such as a covered porch. In any case the finish will last longer and look better if kept out of direct sunlight and blowing rain.
