STEP 1: __________________________________________ ______________________________________________ Place right side of rocker D-R on cardboard shipping box with mortised Pick up Chair Back A and insert in the mortises in the . holes facing up. Insert the front spindles C-2 into the pre-drilled hole in Chair side D-R.

STEP 2:________________________________________________________________________________________ Insert Seat B, below the arm and above the top Spindles. The Place left side of rocker D-L over the tenons that are facing up and Seat B is marked front and back. You will not be attaching the align.

STEP 2: _________________________________________________________________________________________ Continue to tap the Rocker Side D-L down forcing the mortises down on the tenons. It may take a few times to get all completely inserted into mortises. Fig. 8 Fig. 8 STEP 2:____________________________________________________ _____________ _______________________ Move to the front and begin tapping the front post down. onto the Front Spindles C-2.

STEP 3: _________________________________________________________________________________________ Again beginning at the top, place a Hex Screw into the pre-drilled hole and thread the Hex Screw in with the Hex Wrench provided. Note: Do not fully tighten until all Hex Screws have been inserted. Fig. 10 Fig.

STEP 3: _________________________________________________________________________________________ Move to the front post and continue the process. Complete for all five Hex Head Screws. Fig. 12 Fig. 12 STEP 4:____________________________________________________ _____________ _______________________ Rotate the upper side spindle in Rocker Side D-L until the pre-drilled hole is at a 45 degree angle. Start the Seat Screw into the pre-drilled hole and align with the pre-drilled hole in the bottom of the seat.

STEP 5: _________________________________________________________________________________________ Place Runner E onto tenons on the bottom of the back and Front post. Note: There are pre-drilled holes in the side of the Runners E for the Nails that are provided. These pre- drilled holes should face to the inside of the rocker. Once aligned tap the runner fully onto the tenons.

STEP 6: _________________________________________________________________________________________ Go back through and fully tighten all 10 Hex Head Screws and the 4 Seat Screws. Be careful not to over tighten. To preserve the finish on stained or pure white furniture it is highly recommended that they either be placed indoors or in a protected environment such as a covered porch. In any case the finish will last longer and look better if kept out of direct sunlight and blowing rain.
