"Chapter 6 Basic Use Case: Simultaneous Bi-Directional Encoding and Decoding" Walks through the steps of Encoding and Decoding simultaneously. "Chapter 7 BRIDGE LIVE Features and Interface Deep Dive" : Covers the various parts of the UI or feature set not yet covered in detail, and contrasting various settings and options.
Equipped with 12G-SDI I/O plus the power and flexibility to enable real-time bi-directional encoding, decoding and transcoding for critical UltraHD and HD workflows, BRIDGE LIVE is an essential part of any modern live video production toolkit. Whether facilitating remote production, two-way interviews, live event...
BRIDGE LIVE means the flexibility to leave media and equipment at the secure, managed facility, and have creative talent work together remotely with reference quality video.
• Four simultaneous HD channels (1080 60p) can be delivered with 4x 3G-SDI connectors. In this use case, one BRIDGE LIVE device would be installed at the production facility and a second BRIDGE LIVE device would be installed at the remote location.
If you have good enough network throughput, you can use higher bit rates. Encoding BRIDGE LIVE supports encoding from SDI to Stream, and from SDI to JPEG 2K Stream (with optional license). See Table 1 and Table 2 below for encoding signal specifications.

NOTE: A "Pipeline" is the overall setup, from input source to decode, encode or transcode of output format(s). Beneath the AJA and Comprimato logos, in the top left of the interface, is a summary of the number of running Pipelines, beneath which are flags for Errors (Red) or Warnings (Yellow).

Pipeline. For every stream, there is also information on license status. Streams need to be licensed in order to run. For H.265, H.264 and H.262, BRIDGE LIVE will come with perpetual licenses. Select a Pipeline to display the list of configured output streams for that particular input.
Page 18
If the stream is not allowed to produce an output, the license status reads “Blocked” or “Unavailable” and is shown red. BRIDGE LIVE will process the stream as usual, the only difference is that the output will not be sent to defined output sinks.

Most of the important files are located in /opt/transcoder/ folder including the binaries or configuration files as well. System Services All BRIDGE LIVE components run as a system service. You can use the standard OS’s interface systemctl to manage those services. transcoder-base Starts the BRIDGE LIVE and the web server with web UI at system start.
Manual Network Interface Configuration BRIDGE LIVE UI offers a somewhat limited set of possibilities to configure the network interface. In the event that you need to set it more precisely, CentOS 7 has three main options for how to configure network interfaces.
To access the IPMI of a Supermicro server, you need to know the IP address to which you want to connect. With BRIDGE LIVE, you do not need to have the dedicated IPMI interface plugged in, since IPMI shares an interface with the OS while having its own IP address.
Accessing the API Documentation BRIDGE LIVE is REST API ready. You can access the complete API documentation by selecting the API button in the top right corner of Dashboard. Figure 173. The API button Featured Curl commands The API documentation is extensive.
It is possible to automate system monitoring with the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). Below is the list of commands that you may use. NOTE: The monitoring only works while the BRIDGE LIVE is actually transcoding. You will not see a correct response if the system is idle.
