TROUBLESHOOTING

Before calling for service, please review the Troubleshooting chart below, since the problem may not be the
main unit malfunction.
SYMPTOM
Dust and smoke are not removed.
A clicking or ticking sound is heard
from the main unit.
The discharged air has an odor.
The Plasmacluster Ion Indicator
Light doesn't light on.
UV Indicator Light and UV Light are
turned off.
UV Indicator Light is flashing
No mosquitoes are collected on the
Glue Sheet.
When the adhesive remains on
clothes, skin, floor, etc.
AUTO RESTART
ON

(with the main unit OFF)
(simultaneously for
more than 3 sec.)
Any two of MODE Lights are
flashing
• Is filter still in the plastic bag? Please take it out.(Page 6)
• Clean or replace the filter if they appear to be heavily soiled.
(Page 10,12)
• Clicking or ticking sounds may be audible when the main unit
is generating ions.
• Check to see if the filters are heavily soiled.
• Clean or replace the filters.
• Check to see if the SLEEP mode is selected.
The Plasmacluster Ion Indicator Light is turned off after the
SLEEP mode is selected.
• Check to see if the Plasmacluster Ion OFF is selected.
Press
• Check to see if the Light Control OFF is selected. Press
for 3 seconds to light On.
• If Catch Panel comes off or is not properly set, UV Indicator
Light and UV Light are automatically turned off by Magnet
sensor.
Please confirm whether Catch Panel is properly attached.
• It's replacement timing of Glue Sheet.
Please exchange to new Glue Sheet.
Then, press the MOSQUITO CATCHER Button for 3 seconds.
• Aren't windows or doors opened?
• Don't you set up in the place where the wind blows such as air-
conditioner or fan?
Try to relocate the main unit.
• Wipe with cooking oil, then wash with soap and water.
• Even when the plug is unplugged or the breaker is thrown
during the operation, the operation resumes at the previous
operation mode and settings if the power recovers.
If the , , Lights lights up
for 8 seconds, the setting is 'ON'.
• UV Light has failed. Please call the service center approved by
Sharp.
