Advanced Options Menu

The Advanced Options menu category options contains
detailed information about the system board, the EISA
and ISA expansion cards installed in your computer, and
the used and available resources. To see the Advanced
menu, press <F9> while in the Change Configuration
Settings menu. Highlight the menu category you want,
and press <Enter>. Then follow the online instructions.
The options for the Advanced Options menu are:
Global Resource Map — A list of allocated
resources (DMA, IRQ, ports, and memory)
Board Details — Detailed information for individual
boards)
System Details — Information on the entire system
and its current configuration
Physical Board ID Map — Identifications (IDs) of
boards currently in the system

Step 4: Save Configuration

If you save your changes, the utility saves the new con-
figuration in your system's NVRAM and in a file on your
system configuration utility diskette.
If you cancel your changes, you can remain in the utility
to make other changes or exit the utility without saving
any changes.

Step 5: View Switch/Jumper Settings

The Step 5: View Switch/Jumper Settings option (from
the main menu) lists the required switch and jumper set-
tings for each expansion card in your computer. For ISA
expansion cards, it is important to compare the jumper
and switch settings listed on the screen to the actual set-
tings on the card. To print a listing of the correct jumper
and switch settings for a particular expansion card, press
<F7>.
