- This step is optional, you may skip it by pressing ESC and all
configuration settings will remain unchanged.
- Press ENTER to view or change a board's configuration settings.
- Press ESC when you are satisfied with the current settings.

3. To view or change the settings for a particular
card, highlight the name of the card and press
<Enter>.
A list of options appears on the screen.
To select a category on the list of system board
options, press the up- or down-arrow key to high-
light the category and press <Enter>. A pop-up menu
appears, listing the options for that category. To
select an option, press the up- or down-arrow key to
highlight the option and press <Enter>.
NOTES: Several system board categories allow you
to edit such resources as memory address, I/O ports,
IRQs, and DMA channels. It may be necessary to
edit these resources to resolve a configuration
conflict.
The Change Configuration Settings feature is
intended for users who are technically knowledge-
able. Do not change resource settings from their
defaults if you do not understand how such a change
will affect system performance.

While in the Change Configuration Settings menu,
you can press <F9> to enter the Advanced Options
menu. See "Advanced Options Menu" later in this
chapter for more information.

Select Step 4: Save Configuration to save your
changes.

Press <Esc>, select Step 6: Exit, and follow the
online instructions.
Remember to save a written copy of the new
information.
